Trans4mers: A place to prepare me to read and write.
In Trans4mers, our main focus is to prepare children through fun, hands on based experiences to develop holistic skills in a rich resource based learning environment, which lays the foundation for reading and writing.
Literacy and numeracy learning experiences are an important part of our daily Trans4mers programme. With the support of kaiako (teachers) working alongside our children, the children work towards becoming independent learners.
We believe that children benefit from learning experiences that enhance the development of their fine and gross motor skills. We plan our learning experiences and build on the children’s interests so that children are more engaged in their learning.
The foundation built in Trans4mers prepares the way for children to have a smooth and successful transition into Amazing Ants or Primary School.
